By submitting your information to Funky Models, applying to become a model, using our website or voluntarily providing information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your personal information where such consent is required by law. You may withdraw consent where applicable, although this may affect our ability to provide certain services or consider you for modelling, casting or related opportunities.

Funky Models may process personal information for legitimate business and modelling-related purposes, including assessing applications; considering individuals for representation; maintaining model profiles and portfolios; contacting models regarding castings, auditions and work opportunities; matching models with suitable client requirements; communicating about bookings, assignments and contracts; arranging and administering modelling jobs; processing payments where applicable; verifying and updating model information; providing relevant information to clients and authorised industry partners; promoting models and portfolios where appropriate and authorised; communicating service updates; sending relevant casting notices; managing our website; fulfilling contractual or legal obligations; and protecting the security of our business and operations.

7. Sharing Personal Information

Funky Models does not sell personal information simply for the purpose of allowing unrelated organisations to use it for their own purposes. However, modelling may require information to be shared in certain circumstances.

Where appropriate and necessary, relevant personal information, photographs, portfolio material or model details may be provided to parties involved in legitimate modelling, advertising, production or creative opportunities, including advertising agencies, production companies, photographers, casting professionals, marketing agencies, modelling clients, make-up artists, stylists, event and promotional companies, and other authorised industry partners. We aim to limit information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect legal rights, the business or individuals.

8. International Transfers

Some clients, production companies, service providers or industry partners may be located outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, Funky Models will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer and subsequent processing are handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and POPIA requirements.

9. Photographs, Videos and Portfolio Material

Images and videos are an important part of the modelling industry. Where you provide photographs, videos or portfolio material to Funky Models, we may use that material for legitimate modelling, casting, portfolio and promotional purposes, subject to the applicable agreement, consent and legal requirements. Where such material is provided to clients or industry professionals for casting or booking purposes, it will be used in connection with the relevant opportunity. Different permissions may apply to advertising campaigns, social media or other public-facing use; where specific consent is required, Funky Models will obtain it.

10. Direct Marketing and Communications

Funky Models may contact you regarding casting opportunities, auditions, modelling jobs, relevant opportunities, service updates, important account or contractual information and other communications connected to your relationship with us. Where required by law, appropriate consent will be obtained for direct marketing. You may request that we stop sending certain marketing communications.

11. Confidentiality and Third Parties

We take reasonable steps to ensure that employees, contractors, service providers and authorised third parties who have access to personal information understand the importance of confidentiality. Third-party service providers may process or store information on behalf of Funky Models, and we take reasonable steps to ensure that such providers handle information appropriately.

If necessary information is not provided, we may be unable to proceed with an application, booking, contract or service.
